VIRAGS is a Vancouver Island community interested in alpine, bog, and woodland plants and gardens. |
VIRAGS was established in 1921 and is the oldest Rock and Alpine Garden club in North America.

What We Do
We maintain a demonstration garden in Beacon Hill Park in Victoria, BC, and have an annual Spring Show and Sale.

We host talks and workshops on propagating alpine plants, constructing rock gardens, and growing alpines in troughs and containers.
|
We organize open gardens and excursions to see alpine plants in their natural settings.
